This policy explains what information ANT USA Inc. (“ANT USA”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, what we do with it, who else handles it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet the privacy laws of the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada and Australia. Last updated: November 6, 2026.
ANT USA Inc. makes Buyer’s Toolbox, retail planning software. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Under UK and EU law, that makes us the “controller” of that information.
This policy covers this website only. Data that customers load into the Buyer’s Toolbox software is governed by each customer’s contract with us, not by this policy.
You give us information when you fill in a form on this site or email us:
The resource download form has an optional box to receive marketing emails from us. It starts unticked, and we only send marketing emails if you tick it.
Giving us this information is voluntary. Without a name and email address we can’t reply to you or send you a resource.
The planning calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us unless you choose to share it.
When you visit, your browser sends some information on its own:
We do not collect sensitive information such as health, financial account, government ID, biometric or precise location data.
Every email we send about Buyer’s Toolbox tells you how to stop receiving them. Ask us to stop and we will. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise distribute any information collected through this website to third parties. We do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not let advertising networks track you on our site.
The only outside parties that handle it are the service providers listed below, and only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order, or to a buyer of our business if ANT USA is ever sold, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Each provider also has its own privacy policy, which describes how it protects the information it handles.
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics and visitor identification. Both stay off until you allow them. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
ant_consent remembers what you chose, and when, for 12 months. After that, or if this policy changes significantly, we ask again. If you withdraw your consent, we stop the analytics and identification scripts and delete the cookies they set on this site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. The site works the same either way.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a choice to reject analytics and visitor identification, and we don’t show the banner. You can still allow them through Cookie settings. Do Not Track has no agreed standard, so the site doesn’t change its behaviour for it. Use Cookie settings instead.
We keep enquiry and download-request information for as long as we need it to respond to you and for any business relationship that follows. We review what we hold and delete information we no longer need. Analytics and server-log data is kept for the periods set by the providers above. We keep information longer only where the law requires it.
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the information you send us is limited to the people at ANT USA who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you by email without undue delay, and within 7 business days of confirming it. We will notify regulators as the law requires, including within 72 hours where UK or EU law applies.
ANT USA is based in the United States, and this site and its service providers store information there. If you are outside the US, including in the UK, the EU, Canada or Australia, your information will be transferred to the US. Its privacy laws differ from yours, and US courts and authorities may be able to access information held there.
Where the law requires it, we rely on recognised safeguards for these transfers, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension where a provider participates, or standard contractual clauses. We take reasonable steps to make sure overseas providers handle your information consistently with the laws that protect you.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Email info@antusa.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to confirm your identity first. Someone you authorise can make a request for you. We reply within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires, and we won’t treat you any differently for using your rights. There is no charge.
The sections below set out the extra rights that apply where you live.
California. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to delete it; to correct it; to opt out of its sale or sharing; and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information and we do not collect sensitive personal information. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of information: identifiers (name, email address, IP address); professional information (company, job title); internet activity (pages viewed and clicks); and approximate location. They came from you, from your browser, and from RB2B. California residents may also ask whether we disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not.
Other states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and others, have similar rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of their information, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state Attorney General.
California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). You can visit this site without telling us who you are. The link to this policy is labelled “Privacy Policy” and appears at the bottom of every page. We will post any changes here.
Under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation, we rely on these legal bases:
You have the right to access your information, correct it, erase it, restrict how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and object to our use of it. You can object to direct marketing at any time, and we will stop. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, the authority in your country (listed at edpb.europa.eu).
We handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws, including Quebec’s Law 25. We collect information with your knowledge and consent. Submitting a form is your consent for us to use the information to respond to you. Marketing emails need your separate consent: we send them only if you tick the box on the form. Tracking and identification technologies on this site are off by default and switch on only if you allow them. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits, and you can access and correct your information.
Our Privacy Officer is responsible for how we protect personal information and can be reached at info@antusa.com. Your information is stored in the United States (see International transfers). We send commercial emails only as Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) allows, and every one includes a way to unsubscribe.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca), or in Quebec to the Commission d’accès à l’information (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can browse this site without identifying yourself, though we need your name and email address to answer an enquiry. Your information is disclosed to service providers in the United States (see International transfers). You can ask to access and correct your information.
To complain about how we have handled your information, email us. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). Our emails comply with the Spam Act 2003 and include a way to unsubscribe.
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, in line with the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and UK and EU law. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
This site links to other websites, such as our social media profiles and the regulators named above. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
When we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so at the top of this page.
